• Driver, 87, avoids serious injury after being pinned inside vehicle (mlive.com) — An 87-year-old driver from a crash on Pontiac Trail in Commerce Township was freed from his vehicle and taken to Henry Ford Hospital in Novi, where his injuries were believed to be minor. Deputies say the man’s car struck the rear of a semi-truck trailer, and the truck driver was cited as the investigation continues.
