Talk About Town: What Do You Think of NBC's Olympics Coverage?

The Summer Olympics are officially underway in London.

And since Canada's CBC-TV the XXX Olympiad, the games are only being shown on NBC and its networks.

NBC decided to show the Opening Ceremony and many of the more popular competitions, such as gymnastics and swimming, on tape delay during prime time.

This has caused a lot of grumblings, according to the Associated Press, as well as numerous other media reports. 

Many Americans are finding it difficult to avoid spoilers in the news, on social media, or from conversations with friends since the actual competitions are held hours before they are shown on TV. 

Yet, NBC's prime time ratings for the London Olympics are higher than the Beijing games, according to the AP.
