  • Why Go: The Park It! organization is bringing face painting, a bounce house, crafts and giveaways at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., The Toppermost Beatles Tribute Band will play. At 9 p.m, The Smurfs will be shown on the outdoor movie screen.

  • Where: Downtown Northville
  • When: Friday 7 p.m.
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: Bring your chair and listen to the Crutches play pop/rock.

  • Where:
  • When: Saturday 8:30 p.m.
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: View Disney/Pixar's Up in Japanese with English subtitles. Remember to bring a blanket or chair to view the film outdoors in the park. 

Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival

  • Where:
  • When: Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Pricing: $8 for both days. $6 for Sunday only. Children 11 and younger are free. Parking is $5.
  • Why Go: Heirloom brings the nation's largest rubber stamp & paper arts festival, featuring art rubber stamps, card making, scrapbooking and paper arts. The show includes classes, workshops, make & takes, demonstrations and more.
