Locals Enjoy Free Performance by DSO Woodwind Quintet
The free performance at Cranberry Lake Park is part of the township's Music in the Meadows summer concert series.

Just as the rain let up Friday evening, music began to fill the air around the Β where dozens of township residents and guests settled in on the grass facing the home's new ADA-accessible porch.
Sitting on the wide porch, a woodwind quintet composed of members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra warmed up, tuned and kicked off the evening concert with Passacaille by French composer Adrien Barthe.
The concert, sponsored by the Oakland Township Parks and Recreation Commission, coincides with the , which will serve as hub for township organizations and activities.
