On the Agenda: Board of Trustees Meets Tonight

The Oakland Township Board of Trustees is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in . Here's what's on the agenda:

• The Board of Trustees will consider request of a 2-year extension of the approved plan for the Oak Arbor Planned Residential Development.
• The board will consider a resolution allowing publication requirements of certain ordinances to be met by posting the ordinance at the Office of the Clerk and on the township’s website. Currently, the township also publishes this information in the Rochester Post.
• The board will consider setting a public hearing date for next month's meeting on Aug. 9 regarding the proposed special assessment district and scope of work for maintenance of private roads Kniard and Lakeview in Oakland Township.
• The board will consider a request from the Silver Creek Homeowner’s Association for issuance of a traffic control order for public enforcement of the 25mph speed limit within the subdivision. The board will also consider approval of the related agreement.
• Oakland County’s Phil Bertolini and Tammi Shepherd will give a presentation regarding wi-fi service to township residents.

The Board of Trustees will also enter a closed session just prior to adjournment in order to discuss confidential and privileged correspondence from the township attorney, including the pending litigation.
