Kristin is an editor
Who works so very hard
And when they asked her, "Will you read?"
She couldn't disregard.

So Kristin packed her Patch book bag
With storybooks galore
And trekked out to The Village where she
Read them all outdoors.

The little kids, they loved her books
And listened very closely
Sitting near the Starbucks store
They all behaved (well, mostly).

Once she finished all the books
The kids, they did applaud her
For Kristin told such wondrous tales
Engaging even toddlers.
