One stop, two tickets for Rochester Hills driver

An Oakland County Sheriff's deputy pulled over a Rochester Hills man Friday night on Rochester Road after the man's car drifted into the center turn lane "as if he were attempting to pass" several times, according to a sheriff's office report.

The man was found to have a suspended license and was ticketed for driving while license suspended, according to the report. The deputy also detected "a faint odor of intoxicants" on the driver's breath and issued a preliminary breath test; the man blew a 0.061 and was ticketed again for reckless driving for driving with intoxicants in his system, read the report.

The man's vehicle was impounded, and he was taken to the nearest gas station to wait for a ride from a friend.
