You Tell Us: Where are the Iciest Roads in Oakland Township?

Maybe it's the prevalence of dirt roads in the township, or perhaps it's the of the Road Commission for Oakland County this year, but one thing's for sure: Oakland Township has some seriously icy roads.

In the past four days, at least five accidents in Oakland Township have been blamed on slippery road conditions, according to accident reports from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office substation in Oakland Township.

One of the accidents occurred at near on Thursday when a southbound SUV slid off the road, striking another vehicle that had also slid off the road.

“The road was nothing but sheer ice," Oakland County Sheriff's Deputy Andy Sparks said. In the other four accidents that were blamed on icy roads this week, the drivers lost control and either hit a tree or landed in a ditch. Luckily, no major injuries were reported in any of the accidents.

So, because we can't be everywhere (though not for lack of trying), we want to know: Where are the iciest roads in Oakland Township?
