4K Without Power In Metro Detroit Due To High Winds
Over 4,000 DTE customers in the Metro Detroit were without power Saturday morning, as high winds roll through the region.
METRO DETROIT — Over 4,000 DTE customers in the Metro Detroit were without power Saturday morning, as high winds roll through the region.
The largest outages were in the Plymouth/Northville area and western Oakland County, including Novi and Milford.
A wind advisory for most of southeastern Michigan expired at 1 p.m. after the region saw gusty winds between 40 and 50 miles per hour.

The gusty winds were expected to hang around the region through Saturday, as gusts can reach up to 30 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
