Canton Company's Expansion To Bring 150 Jobs

CANTON, MI — A Canton company’s expansion is expected to create up to 150 jobs. Kingfa Science and Technology USA Inc., which sells plastic compounds used in the automotive industry, was recently granted a 10-year, 50 percent tax abatement by Canton’s Board of Trustees to aid in the expansion, according to a Canton Observer report.

"We're excited they chose to come to Canton to begin with — and now they are continuing to expand," township Supervisor Pat Williams said. "I think this will be some high-quality jobs as they do that."

“The company opened its Canton facility in March 2016. It's a partnership that goes beyond plastics, Williams said. Kingfa's headquarters in China is located in Guangzhou — the Chinese word for Canton.”
