Canton Public Library Hosting Week of Fun Events

CANTON, MI — The Canton Public Library is hosting a week of fun events ranging from trivia battles to game nights Nov. 14 - 20. Clear your calendar and see you at the library (1200 S. Canton Center Rd., Canton).

Upcoming events:

-Attention, trivia masters! Put your brain to the test at Trivia Night on Monday, Nov. 14, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. There'll be questions on geography, pop culture, literature, science and everything in between. And you don't need a team to play! Simply walk in and join in. P.S. There'll be prizes including a $40 Barnes & Noble gift card.

-Can't get enough 'Gilmore Girls'? The beloved TV show that first aired in 2000 is making a Netflix revival later this month, and the library is getting into the Stars Hollow mood with a 'Gilmore Girls' Celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 7-8:30 p.m. Show off your Rory and Lorelei knowledge in a trivia game and have fun in the Stars Hollow photo booth.

-Hey gamers! It's game on. "International Games Day" will be a mix of board and card games on Saturday, Nov. 19 from noon to 3 p.m. The library will have board and card games and you can bring your favorites, too. All ages welcome.

-Calling all Harry Potter fans! Sunday, Nov. 20 from 1-2:30 p.m. will be "Muggles, Music and Mayhem." The Harry Potter celebration will be a magical blur of wizard rock band Tonks & the Aurors, Potter-themed treats and wizard trivia. Guests will also have a chance to win movie passes. All ages welcome.
