Canton Man Reports Stolen License Plate

Canton Township Police met March 2 at the station with a man reporting a stolen license plate, according to a police report.

The man told police he parked his 2006 Ford Taurus in the parking lot of his friend’s apartment at the 5600 block of Fordham Circle at 11 p.m. on March 1 and when he left at 7 a.m. on March 2, he notice the license plate missing.

The man told police the plate was secured with four screws to the bumper of his vehicle and he believed someone removed the plate.

The man told police he did not see or hear anything suspicious overnight and police do not have suspects.
