East Middle School Student Appears On DPTV As Part Of Religious Diversity Journey Program
East Middle School 7th grade student Kennedy Clawson recently appeared on Detroit Public Television.
Congratulations to East Middle School 7th grade student Kennedy Clawson, who recently appeared on Detroit Public Television as part of the Interfaith Leadership Council of Metro Detroit's Religious Diversity Journey series of programs.
The Religious Diversity Journey program takes over 800 7th grade students from Metro Detroit into houses of worship each year to supplement their study of world religions and teach important diversity and cultural awareness skills. Without the ability to provide in-person field trips this year, the program partnered with Detroit Public Television to provide virtual visits to five local houses of faith in addition to virtual content now available online.
