Harry Potter, Wizard of Oz Highlight Penn Theater's Summer Cinema Series
Classic movies will be shown at the Penn Theater each Thursday. Ticket prices are just $3.

PLYMOUTH, MI — Search for something to do with the kids this summer? The Penn Theater in Plymouth just might have part of the solution with its Summer Cinema Matinee Series. Starting this week, the downtown Plymouth theater will show a classic move each Thursday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
And one of the best thing about the summer series? It won’t break the bank. Tickets are just $3 each. The series kicks off with a showing of the “Wizard of Oz” on July 13. Here’s a list of other movies planned for the summer series:
- July 20 - Raiders of the Lost Ark
- July 27 - Jaws
- August 3 - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
- August 10 - Back to the Future
- August 17 - Abbott and Costello Go To Mars
- August 24 - Jurassic Park
- August 31 - The Muppet Movie
