HSHV Looking for Homes for 88 Cats Taken from Hoarder

The 88 cats were rescued from horrendous conditions in a home in Ypsilanti Township.

Eighty-eight sick, malnourished and flea infested cats were recently rescued by the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) Animal Cruelty and Rescue Team.

The animals are still under medical treatment, according to Deb Kern's blog on Plymouth-Canton Patch.

HSHV held a special adoption weekend to help find homes for the numerous adult cats that were already in the shelter in order to care for the rescued cats and set a record of 144 adoptions in three days.
