Liberty Middle School NJHS Holds Donation Drive For Humane Society, First Step
NJHS members will hold socially-distanced drive-through donation drop-offs for the Humane Society.
As charitable organizations continue to feel the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their fundraising and donation levels, the Liberty Middle School National Junior Honor Society is working to help homeless animals and victims of domestic violence who can slip through the cracks during the holiday season.
NJHS members will hold socially-distanced drive through donation drop-offs for the Humane Society of Huron Valley and First Step Domestic Violence Shelter on December 10th and 14th from 2:30 to 6:30 pm in the school's parking lot at 46250 Cherry Hill Rd. Donations will also be accepted in the front loop of East Middle School on Monday December 14th and Tuesday December 15th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

The drive will collect new, unused items. A partial list of items requested by Humane Society officials includes: Bath Towels, Canned Cat Food, Gourmet Cat Foods, Canned Tuna, Dry Cat Food, Timothy Hay, Canned Dog Food, Dry Dog Food, and Cat Toys. Any food Must Be In Original Packaging
Items requested by first step include toys and gifts for children displaced by domestic violence and technology items which will help victims of that violence gain more independence in their lives.
