The award-winning student radio program at 88.1 the Park has announced that the station is currently accepting applications for staff positions. The applications are open to all current P-CEP students.

Students will have an opportunity to work in all areas of the station’s operation including as a DJ, Sports Announcer, Promotions Assistant, News Anchor and Production Assistant. They will gain experience that will prepare them for careers in media and will develop business skills that will stick with them for a lifetime.
The station will host an introductory meeting for students planning to audition on Thursday January 20, at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The meeting will provide an overview of the audition process and expectations for new staff members. Information concerning that Zoom meeting is available on the 88.1 the Park website.

Application s must be returned by January 28th. A list of students that receive auditions will be posted on Wednesday February 2. Auditions will take place on Wednesday February 9. All students receiving an audition will be sent a Zoom link and schedule of audition times. Students auditioning will be emailed a packet to prepare a newscast. They will read the newscast at the audition and will be involved in a short job interview.
