The contest saw students from around the Detroit metro area create a 45-second or less PSA video discussing the dangers of distracted driving with their phone or a DSLR camera. Winners were then selected by a panel of judges.

P-CEP students Claire Stelmaszek and Jonathan McKaye placed 2nd and 3rd in the competition. Claire won $1,500 for her video “That Driver” and Jonathan won $1,000 for his video “Focusing On The Road (Medical)”. Under the direction of program coordinator and P-CEP teacher Janet Sutherland, the video program also won an additional $1,000 for having the most submissions.
