The Bird family honored each of the six Durham Transportation Drivers who serve the school with a small ceremony on their buses. The drivers received Bird School Personalized Mugs filled with $125.00 in gift cards, along with well deserved applause and love from faculty, staff, parents, and students as thanks for their commitment to the district and school community. The school also celebrated the other drivers who play a role in the lives of students, including special education transportation and drivers for childcare providers Red Bell and Childtime.

The Bird Thunderbirds appreciate how drivers work to get students to school to learn each day, safely and on time!
