Plymouth-Canton Schools Radio Station Interviews New Superintendent
Listen to the interview on 88.1 Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.

Plymouth-Canton Schools own radio station, 88.1 The Park, will air a special Community Focus interview with Michael Meissen, the new Superintendent of the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.
The interview is hosted by Salem High School Senior Archana Sondor, the station's news director. Sondor, who has been at the radio station since her freshman year, said Meissen came to the studio for the interview.
"I thought it was a really cool experience, especially since he's (Meissen) new here and he hasn't had much experience with the community and he hasn't been exposed to everything Plymouth-Canton has to offer," she said. "I thought it was pretty cool that I got to represent the station and show him what Salem and The Park has to offer."
The interview discusses Meissen's background in education, family, plans for a new middle school, technology upgrades and the future for Central Middle School.
The interview will be broadcasted on 88.1 The Park on Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. It will also be available as a podcast at 881ThePark.com beginning Wednesday.
WSDP is owned and operated by the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools. The
station has been serving the community since Feb. 14, 1972.
