1. Rouge Rescue 2013
- When: Saturday, June 1, 9 a.m.
- Where: Lower Rouge Trail, Canton. Check in at the west parking lot (next to the playground).
- What: Join Friends of the Rouge and their community partners in cleaning up the Rouge River. Don't miss this enjoyable opportunity to make a positive improvement in your community. For more detailed information including sites and times, go to www.therouge.org.
2. Plymouth Football 12th Annual Golf Outing
- When: Saturday, June 1, Registration begins 12:30 p.m.
- Where: Pheasant Run Golf Course
- What: Family Plymouth Wildcat Football 12th Annual Golf Outing. Best Ball Scramble – Shotgun Tee Off. Registration begins at 12:30pm

3. Plymouth Library Teen Summer Challenge
- When: Saturday, June 1
- Where: Plymouth District Library
- What: Beginning June 1, students entering middle school and up canregister online for the Plymouth Library's Teen Summer Challenge. The challenge will involve READING and DOING. Students must earn 6 READING points (read 6 books) and 4 DOING points (participate in 4 activities like come to a library program, read to a young child, participate in Maker Camp on Google+ which begins on July 8, or do a diy.org challenge, get involved in a community service project or lots of other possibilities. Prizes will be awarded at all levels.
