Where To See Santa In Wayne County This Christmas Season

WAYNE COUNTY, MI — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Wayne County families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Wayne County, kids have several chances:

• Lake Erie Metropark, 32481 W Jefferson, Sunday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. - noon or 1 p.m. - 3 p., Brownstown
• Campus Martius Park, 800 Woodward Ave, Saturday, Nov. 18, from noon-4 p.m., Detroit
• Ford House, 1100 Lake Shore Road, Dec. 2-16 from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. (Saturdays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays), Grosse Pointe Shores
• Metro Detroit Santa Photos – English Gardens Photos with Santa, 9900 Ann Arbor Rd W, Plymouth, Saturday, Dec. 9, from 11 a.m. - 2. p.m.
• Oakwoods Metropark, 32911 Willow Rd, Sunday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa is coming to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores on Black Friday, which is Nov. 24 this year. In metro Detroit, see Santa at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi and the Somerset Collection and Troy marketplace in Troy.

JC Penney stores, including stores in metro Detroit, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
