$1 Kid-Friendly Movies Return To This Michigan Theater
Kid favorites like "Sing," "How to Train Your Dragon 2" and others featured during $1 movie mornings at Regal Cinema in Walled Lake.

Wondering what to do with the kiddos all summer? Regal Cinema is bringing back its popular $1 movies across the country this summer, featuring kid favorites like flicks from the “Despicable Me” and “LEGO” franchises, as well as many others.
The $1 Summer Movie Express films will be shown at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at the UA Commerce Township Stadium 14 in Walled Lake.
Knoxville, Tennessee-based Regal has been offering the deeply discounted movies since 1991 to “foster a love of moviegoing in each new generation,” according to a statement.

This year’s featured movies include:

- “Ice Age: Collision Course”
- “Storks”

- “The Peanuts Movie”
- “The LEGO Ninjago Movie”
- “Ferdinand”

- “Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel”
Regal operates 7,310 screens in 559 theaters in 43 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Saipan and American Samoa.
