Accident Leaves Rochester Woman In Critical Condition
A Rochester woman is in critical but stable condition after being struck by a car in the parking lot of a Livernois Road Kroger.
ROCHESTER HILLS — A Rochester woman is in critical but stable condition after being struck by a car in the parking lot of a Livernois Road Kroger grocery store in Rochester Hills late Wednesday afternoon. According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at about 4:15 p.m. when an 82-year-old Rochester Hills woman driving a 2001 Honda Accord struck the woman in the crosswalk of the Kroger.
The 63-year-old woman was transported to Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills where she was admitted for her injuries. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and said that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident.
The 82-year-old driver was uninjured and police have not determined if charges will be filed against her. The Kroger is located in the Campus Corners Shopping Center near Livernois Road and Walton Boulevard.
