Body Of Missing Royal Oak Woman Found In Rochester Hills

Police are investigating to determine how a 32-year-old woman ended up dead in a wooded area this week.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — The body of a missing Royal Oak woman has been found in Rochester Hills, according to authorities. Holly Towery was first reported missing on Wednesday by her boyfriend who was searching for the 32-year-old woman. According to reports, the woman is the mother of a 5-year-old.

She was reportedly last seen at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night in Royal Oak. Her boyfriend took to Facebook with his plea to find her. Police located her cell phone in Pontiac on Wednesday, according to reports, and on Thursday evening found her remains in Rochester Hills.

The 2003 grey Dodge Durango she was driving was recovered near the Painted Creek Trail area around Dutton Road and North Livernois. Police say they do not suspect foul play, but no other details have been released at this time. The case remains under investigation.
