ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Celebrity chef Guy Fieri has a saying. If it’s funky, he will find it. Now, the popular Food Network personality’s culinary creations can find their way to your front door as part of a series of “ghost kitchens” Fieri has opened, including in Rochester Hills.

Guy’s Flavortown Kitchen recently launched in 23 states across the country and will have four Michigan locations, according to the restaurant’s website. The “ghost kitchen” concept means there is no in-person dining option, but instead, the eatery is open for delivery-only.

The Rochester Hills location, which is set to open in next few weeks, is located at 286 N. Adams Rd. and will offer a host of Fieri’s over-the-top menu items that are mostly based on comfort food favorites.

Fieri is also slated to open locations in Sterling Heights, Lansing and Livonia, according to the website. The menu includes appetizers such as jalapeno pip poppers (bacon-wrapped, fire-roasted jalapenos stuffed with andouille sausage and pimento), cheesesteak egg rolls, bourbon brown sugar BBQ wings, a host of sandwiches and burgers, entrees and salads, as well as sides that include Flavortown fries and Mac Daddy Mac and Cheese.

Orders will be able to be placed using third-party mobile apps.

Fieri, who is the host of Food Network Shows such as "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" and "Guy’s Grocery Games", launched the restaurants earlier this month, according to reports. The concept of the ghost kitchen concept, the report said, is to keep operating costs by running the business in an existing space. The concept was first introduced in 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic set in and forced restaurant dining spaces to close and for restaurants to rely on pick-up and delivery service.

Fieri is running the concept in partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts, LLC, which is operated by Robert Earl, the former CEO of Planet Hollywood.
