Hooper Reappointed as Rochester Hills City Council President

Pixley reappointed as vice president; neither vote was unanimous.

Rochester Hills City Council reappointed Greg Hooper as council president on Monday night. Vern Pixley was reappointed as vice president.

Both Pixley and Hooper are serving terms that will expire next November.

"I am pleased to serve for another year as city council president," Hooper said.

Hooper and Pixley voted for themselves; council members Michael Webber, J. Martin Brennan and Nathan Klomp also voted for them.

Council members James Rosen and Ravi Yalamanchi voted for themselves for president. For vice president, Rosen and Yalamanchi voted for Yalamanchi.
