CVS Pharmacist Tips Off Deputies About Suspects Trying To Get Oxycodone
Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies busted the suspects while they were parked in the pharmacy drive-thru.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — A quick-thinking pharmacist tipped off authorities about two suspects attempting to fraudulently get Oxycodone, according to a press release.
Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies were first alerted by a pharmacist that two suspects - a 47-year-old woman and 49-year-old man - were trying to fill a fraudulent Oxycodone prescription at a CVS Pharmacy in the 3400 block of Baldwin in Lake Orion on Jan. 4 at 8:46 p.m.
Arriving Deputies rushed to the scene and blocked in the suspects while they sat in their black 2017 Dodge Ram in the pharmacy drive-thru.

A search of the suspects' truck yielded suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash - all confiscated by Deputies. The vehicle was impounded.
After Deputies confirmed the prescriptions were fraudulent, they arrested both suspects for prescription fraud and transported them to the Oakland County Jail pending criminal charges.
