Deputies Quickly Nab Suspects In Rochester Hills Robbery
These deputies were at the right place at the right time when a Rochester Hills business was reportedly robbed.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Oakland County Sheriff’s Department officers were at the right place at the right time Wednesday when they apprehended several suspects allegedly wanted in a robbery of a Rochester Hills business.
A deputy was traveling near Rochdale and Walton Boulevard when he saw a car stopped in the roadway and a man running to the vehicle. When it sped off, officers initiatied a traffic stop, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said.
When the car stopped, the man reportedly jumped out and fled.

Officers received word that the Wild Bill’s Tobacco had just been robbed and the suspect description matched the subject who had fled. The driver and other passenger in the car, a 21-year-old man from Sterlight Heights and a 39-year-old man from Romulus, were arrested.
Police have identified the man who fled as a 35-year-old from Sterling Heights.
