Deputies Recover Reported Stolen Car In Rochester Hills
The car was reported stolen in Pontiac on Oct. 6.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A car reported as stolen was recovered in Rochester Hills Monday by Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies. The car was reported stolen on Oct. 6 in Pontiac by a woman who had recently purchased it, reports said.
She told deputies she believed the previous owner took the car and had it at a home in the 3100 block of Eastern Avenue in Rochester Hills. Deputies went to the home and spotted the car traveling on Eastern Avenue near Sibley Street.
After stopping the car, deputies took the driver into custody. Reports did not specify if he was charged. The recovered car was impounded by deputies as evidence. Detectives are continuing with their investigation.
