Downtown Brawl Has Police Asking For Help
Rochester Police are asking for help locating several men involved in a brawl last month. One person was hospitalized after the fight.

ROCHESTER, MI — Police are trying to get to the bottom of a downtown Rochester brawl between two groups last month. At least one person needed hospitalization and several others were punched in the face after the groups clashed in a parking lot near Third and Walnut streets, according to a C & G Newspapers report.
Rochester Police is asking for anyone with knowledge of the Sept 3 incident, which occurred at about 2 a.m., to come forward. Police were able to interview members of one of the groups, but are looking for members of the second group to get their side of the story.
“There was a verbal altercation between two groups of people. Someone made a comment to somebody else that upset them, so they started going back and forth at each other, yelling at each other,” Rochester Police Detective Luke Mitchell said.
