The Rochester Area Neighborhood House, a private, non-profit agency dedicated to assisting the community
during times of hardship, will be holding their Junior Ambassador Reception on Aug. 8th to introduce Kaylee Zajac as their 2012-2013 Junior Ambassador.
Zajac, a junior at Stoney Creek High School, spent the past year as the Neighborhood House Youth Committee Chairperson. This position allowed her the opportunity to recruit other youth into service, coordinate events and fundraisers for Neighborhood House, and work with the Junior Ambassador and Executive Director to help publicize the services and programs offered by Neighborhood House.
Zajac’s role as Junior Ambassador will allow her to interact with the Neighborhood House Board of Directors, executive director, and other staff and volunteers in an effort to gain experience in the areas of civic responsibility, community service, public speaking, fundraising, marketing, and fund development.
