Get Read For Spring: GFL Starts Yard Waste Pick Up On April 3
All materials should be out to the curb by 7 a.m. on residents' scheduled pickup da.y
ROCHESTER, MI — Green for Life Environmental Services will begin the 2017 compost season the week of April 3. Rochester officials said residents should have all materials out to the curb by 7 a.m. on their scheduled pickup day.
Place all yard waste in brown paper bags or cans clearly marked yard waste and/or compost. Stickers can be picked up at the city of Rochester municipal building during working hours. Also, if you are placing sticks/branches at the curb for compost pick up, requirements include:
- Length of branches 4 feet or less, bundles must be tied and secure
- Bundles must be less than 60 pounds in weight
- Yard waste placed in plastic bags or cans that are not clearly marked will not be picked up
