Man Trying to Enter House Arrested Charged With Disorderly Intoxication

Rochester Police arrested a man Nov. 2 after he reportedly stood on a front porch and tried to gain entry into a home, according to the department.
According to police officials, officers responded at about 4:15 a.m. on Nov. 2 to a home on the 900 block of Fairview to find a 32-year-old Rochester Hills man standing on the front porch with a set of keys in the front door.
According to police, the man was very drunk and did not know where he was. He told police he thought he was at a friend's house and that he had just called his friend on his phone.Â

Police administered a preliminary breath test, where the man registered a 0.29 percent blood alcohol content.Â
According to police, the man was unable to tell officers where he had been previously or how he got to the address on Fairview. He was taken into custody and lodged until he was sober. Police issued the man a citation for disorderly intoxication.
