ROCHESTER, MI — Nothing says summer in Downtown Rochester quite like Sidewalk Sales. Back for its 63rd Year, Sidewalk Sales will kick-off July 12 with an awesome assembly of bargains from downtown Rochester merchants. Sidewalk Sales will run 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 12 and Friday, July 13 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 14. Sidewalk Sale displays will be located along Main Street and side streets in Downtown Rochester.

“Over the years Sidewalk Sales has become something to expect during the summer in Downtown Rochester”, said Jenna O’Dell, Events Coordinator of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. “For many it isn’t summer without three days filled with shopping, dining, and family-friendly activities.”

As always there will be fun for all ages: Kids can partake in a sand art activity daily from noon to 3 p.m. in front of 423 Main and shoppers can enjoy musical entertainment from the Midwest Dueling Pianos on Thursday night. On Friday night get movin’ and groovin’ for the return of Dancin’ in the Street. Dancin’ in the Street takes place on W. Fourth Street from 6-10 p.m.
