METRO DETROIT, MI — A Rochester native has been honored by the Marine Corp for his part in helping save a woman on Mount Fuji, Japan. Cpl. Christopher Ehms and and four other Marines were hiking on the mountain when they heard a cry for help. They found the woman extremely ill with her father, who was unable to get her down the mountain for treatment. Read the rest of the story here.
