New Deli A Hit In Downtown Rochester
Detroit Deli & More patrons enjoy menu options, friendly atmosphere.
ROCHESTER, MI — In the department of there never being too many lunchtime options, one of downtown Rochester’s newest restaurant provides a good one, according to reviewers on Yelp.com. Since opening a few months ago, Detroit Deli & More — located 121 S. Main Street — has garnered 29 reviews and scored an overall rating of 4.5 stars.
And with 29 sandwich, wrap and burger choices along with salads and numerous choices, Detroit Deli & More offers a solid variety of choices. Heck you can even get “morning goodies” such as pastries, muffins, bagels and a yogurt parfait.
Reviewer Tom W. of Saginaw gave the restaurant five stars on Aug. 15. “Excellent sandwiches. Wonderful service. Must try. We had gyro, famous Reuben, and the Swiss Reuben. All tastes great!”

Detroit Deli & More is open Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. Reviewers seem to particularly impressed with the “reuben” sandwich.

“I had the Turkey Rueben which was honestly the best I've ever had,” wrote Adrian D. of Rochester in a July 16 review. “Add the pickle and jalapeño chips and lunch was delicious (they have a big selection of chips if jalapeño is not your thing).”
Cindy B. of Rochester was equally impressed in a July 25 review.
“This is a great addition to downtown Rochester,” she wrote. “The staff is super helpful, professional and prompt. My husband and I each had the reuben...lean, great rye bread, fresh. Very clean. Good for kids. Owner came around and thanked every diner for being there.”
