Oakland County Pick-Up Truck Thief On The Loose? Second Truck Stolen From Driveway

Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies say two 2016 Dodge Rams have been swiped from Oakland County driveways this week.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — A white 2016 Dodge Ram was swiped from an Oxford Township woman's driveway, according to a police report. There have now been two pick-up truck thefts from driveways in the area this week, and Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies believe the same culprit is behind both thefts.

In the 2016 white Dodge Ram theft, Deputies responded to the scene in the 800 block of N. Coats Rd. on Jan. 16 at 7:36 a.m. The truck owner told Deputies her vehicle had been taken from her driveway. The truck was not locked and tracks left behind by show that the thief drove away northbound on N. Coats Rd.

Deputies conducted an area search but didn't find the vehicle and listed it in LEIN as a stolen vehicle. The crime is under investigation.
