P.F. Chang's Comes To Rochester Hills
The popular restaurant opened its doors Monday on N. Adams Road.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — One of metropolitan Detroit’s best-known Asian restaurants — P.F. Chang’s — opened its doors Monday in Rochester Hills. Located at 122 N. Adams Road, it’s chain’s eighth Michigan restaurant, according to a Crain’s Detroit Business report.
"Our guests will enjoy our ... food philosophy where we use only wholesome ingredients, purposeful recipes and the power of the fiery wok,” Hal Lawlor, P.F. Chang's regional vice president, said in a news release.”
P.F. Chang’s other nearby outlets in Troy, Clinton and Northville townships are all rated at 3.5 stars by reviewers on Yelp. Many complimented food at the restaurants, but were not as enthusiastic about service.

Peter Y. of Troy wrote in an Aug. 19 review that the food was good, but service was poor. He gave P.F. Chang’s just one star.
“Placed an online order and went to pick it up,” he wrote. “The carry out runner tells me you're order is all set but we're out of rice. Wait what? Pf Chang No Rice = Subway no bread.”
P.F. Chang’s owns and operates more than 300 restaurants in 22 countries and territories, Crain’s reported. Its restaurants serve a wide variety of dishes.
Lettuce wraps are among P.F. Chang’s most popular appetizers. Ginger Chicken with broccoli, Korean chicken stir fry, Mongolian Beef, Pepper Steak and a number of seafood and vegetarian are among dinner selections.
“PF Changs is our go to Chinese restaurant. During lunch hours, the wait isn't too bad but dinner hours and weekends are busier, obviously,” wrote Yelp reviewer Emily Y. of Rochester in a May 21 review of the Clinton Township location. She gave it five stars. “The menu changed since the last time I visited and prices have gone up, but you get what you pay for. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating available.”
