Rochester Hills Woman Dies Days After Undergoing Plastic Surgery

The Rochester Hills woman reportedly underwent plastic surgery only days before her death.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A Rochester Hills woman died on New Year's Day. The victim had reportedly undergone plastic surgery just days earlier, according to a press release.

Deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office along with the Rochester Hills Fire Department were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of Winry Dr. on Jan. 1 at 5:44 p.m. A caller alerted authorities that his ex-wife was not breathing and he was performing CPR.

Deputies took over performing CPR on the 58-year-old woman until paramedics arrived on the scene. Paramedics reportedly administered CPR on the woman "until all life saving measures were exhausted" according to the press release.

The woman was transported to Crittenton Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Deputies say there was no apparent sign of foul play. The ex-husband told Deputies that his former wife had undergone plastic surgery just days earlier. He also revealed the victim had asthma and was prescribed several medications to treat headaches.

An autopsy has been scheduled and the incident is being investigated.
