Rochester Police Arrest Teen Accused of Possessing Marijuana
Teen arrested, released to mother during April 6 incident.

The following information was provided by Rochester Police. Arrests, where indicated, do not indicate a conviction.
A Rochester Police officer contacted two people in the back seat of a vehicle April 6 on Diversion Street. According to police, the officer questioned the occupants, a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old female, both from Rochester Hills.
Both occupants told police they were just talking, according to police. Further investigation, however, revealed the male teen possessed a small amount of marijuana, police said.

Police arrested the teen and took him to the Rochester Police Department, where he was released to his mother, police indicated. The female teen was released at the scene, police said.
