Rochester's 'Mad Money March' Offers Winner $1k Shopping Spree

From Downtown Rochester: Come April 3, there will be four lucky winners, all with Shopping Sprees in Downtown Rochester. How? Shoppers who spend $100 at one or more participating businesses during the month of March can enter for a chance to win a $1,000 Shopping Spree, a $500 Shopping Spree or one of two $250 Shopping Sprees!

“Mad Money March has become a really exciting promotion in downtown Rochester,” said Stephanie Hellebuyck, Rochester Downtown Development Authority events coordinator. “By March, everyone is looking for signs of spring, warmer weather, and something fun. Your chances of winning the shopping spree are greater than winning the lottery, so why not take a chance?”

Customers may qualify for entry by spending at least $100 collectively at one or more of the 38 participating businesses anytime throughout the month of March. To enter for the shopping sprees, receipts must be validated at one of the following locations during regular business hours.

Rochester DDA – 308 ½ Main

Fieldstone Winery – 223 Main

South Street Skateshop – 410 Main

All receipts must be validated by close of business on March 31. Shoppers will receive one entry for every $100 spent at participating businesses. Shoppers cannot win multiple shopping sprees. Shopping sprees are only redeemable at participating businesses. Winners will be announced and contacted on Monday, April 3.
