St. John Lutheran Cross Country Teams Compete At National Meet
Three girls earned All-American honors.

ROCHESTER, MI — St. John Lutheran School’s boys' and girls' cross country teams competed in their first Lutheran Cross Country National Meet at Concordia University in Wisconsin on Oct. 22. The teams advanced to the national competition after placing first at the State Meet on Oct. 16.
How did the St. John runners do? Awesome! The girls’ team took home fifth place out of 15 girls’ teams. And special congrats to Madeline Barge, Abby Rice and Emma Burrell for earning All-American honors in the 4th - 6th grade division. The boys’ team ran their way to 14th place out of 18 competing boys’ teams.
The teams are coached by Todd Bauer and Paul Rice.
