Traffic Stop in Rochester Leads to Marijuana Arrest
Police recover glass pipe, two pill bottles containing marijuana.

The following information was provided by Rochester Police. Arrests, where indicated, do not indicate a conviction.
A Rochester Police officer stopped a driver clocked at 45 mph in a 25 mph zone on April 1 on 2nd Street near Elizabeth Street, according to a police report.
When the officer stopped the driver, he detected what smelled like marijuana from inside the vehicle, the report indicated. A vehicle search turned up two pill bottles with a substance later determined to be marijuana and a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana, according to the report.

According to the report, police arrested the 16-year-old male driver from Rochester Hills and turned him over to his mother.
Charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia are pending, the report indicated.

Money reported stolen from locker room
Rochester Police responded April 3 to Onyx Rochester Ice Arena, 52999 Dequindre, for a report of stolen money, according to a police report.
Police spoke with three individuals who said someone took money out of their pants pockets in the locker room, the report indicated. The pants were left unsecured in the locker room, according to the report.
Police were unable to find any witnesses and currently do not have suspects, the report indicated.
