Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies say the Clinton Township man was found unconscious outside of the Red Roof Inn.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Two doses of Narcan were needed to revive an unconscious man, according to a press release.

A 23-year-old Ohio man called the Oakland County Sheriff's Communication Center on Jan. 22 at 1:12 a.m. to report his friend - a 26-year-old Clinton Township man - was unconscious and lying on the sidewalk outside of their room at the Red Roof Inn in the 2000 block of Crooks Rd. The caller revealed his friend stated he was going outside to smoke. After a few minutes passed and the friend hadn't returned, the caller went outside to investigate and discovered his friend lying on the sidewalk.

Deputies arrived on the scene and found the man unconscious and exhibiting shallow breathing. The caller told Deputies his friend has a history of heroin use, and Deputies administered a dose of Narcan to the victim.
