Warm Weather Brings Big Crowds to Leader Dog Spring Carnival
Organizers report strong attendance at 36th annual carnival.
The Rochester Hills Lions Club can thank Mother Nature for helping its 36th annual Leader Dog Spring Carnival get off to a strong start.
The carnival, which kicked off May 2 and runs through May 12 in the Kmart parking lot at 1100 S. Rochester Road in Rochester Hills, has had the benefit of warm, sunny weather and Brad Huston of North American Midway Entertainment, which has partnered with the local event for 30 years, says the carnival is on pace for record attendance numbers in Rochester Hills.
Huston credited the balmy weather for the strong turnout.
