Woman Dies In Rochester Hills Car Crash
A 63-year-old woman is dead after her Ford Fusion ended up in a ditch in Rochester Hills Tuesday.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Police are investigating to determine how a woman veered off the road in Rochester Hills and died in the crash on Tuesday afternoon. Police say a 63-year-old woman from Waterford Township was driving a 2015 Ford Fusion westbound on M-59 near Adams Road when she left the roadway, hit a sign and crashed into a ditch.
Paramedics reportedly found the woman unresponsive in the vehicle and she was transferred to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. She was the only one involved in the crash and was wearing a seatbelt, according to authorities. It is not believed that alcohol was a factor in the accident.
Police have not yet released the woman’s name. They will continue to investigate.
