MADISON HEIGHTS, MI — Two people were killed in a Wednesday morning house fire in Madison Heights, according to fire officials.

Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 50 block of West Harwood Avenue near John R Road and Lincoln Avenue at 10 a.m., according to fire officials.

After firefighters put out the fire, they found two people dead inside the single-story home, according to fire officials.
