4 Dead, 1 Hurt In Wrong-Way Crash On I-75 In Oakland County: Police
Police said the crash happened early Sunday morning on Interstate 75 near 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Four people were killed and one was injured in an overnight wrong-way crash on Interstate 75 in Oakland County, according to Michigan State Police.
Police said a black Volkswagen was moving north in the southbound lanes on the freeway near 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak at 2:50 a.m. when it crashed into a Dodge Caravan.
The driver of the Volkswagen and three people inside the Caravan were killed in the crash, according to police.

A fourth person who was inside the Caravan was taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition, according to police.
The crash closed that portion of Interstate 75 for six hours early Sunday morning.

Police did not immediately identify the victims killed in the crash.
No further information was released.
Police were still investigating the crash.
