Michael Wolff, author of a recent, controversial book on the Trump presidency, will make an appearance in Royal Oak April 6. The Royal Oak Music Theater, which will host the WDET-presented An Evening With Michael Wolff, calls the event “a live, shocking and intimate conversation with the man on the inside of the most controversial presidency in our nation’s history.”
Wolff will speak at the Royal Oak Music Theater Friday, April 6, at 7 p.m.. Ticket sales begin Friday, Feb. 23 at noon, with pre-sale tickets on sale Wednesday, Feb. 21. Prices range from $39.50 for basic admission to $125.00 for VIP meet-and-greet tickets. There’s also a Screening Room option, allowing patrons to watch the talk from a private suite with its own bar, private restroom, and lounge seating.
Perhaps because of the subject matter, the event is for people 18 and over only. Wolff, author of The Fire and the Fury: Inside the Trump White House, saw his book debut at #1 on the New York Times and Amazon bestsellers lists in January. The book sold nearly two million copies in its initial month and publishers plan to translate it into 35 languages.

The book alleges a tense atmosphere inside the White House, where senior staff lack faith in President Donald Trump. Many top aides and officials confessed to Wolff that they doubted the president’s intellect, character and understanding of government. President Trump has Tweeted that the book is a "phony" attempt at discrediting him.
Tickets to the event can be purchased via Axs online, starting Feb. 21 (pre-sale) and Feb. 23 (official sale).
